Stump McDowell has been cooking competition BBQ since the late 90's. He's won countless trophies all over the United States, and was featured on 2 seasons of BBQ Pitmasters and the first season of BBQ Pit Wars. He is hailed as one of the best pork cooks in the country and is often the celebrity judge at numerous BBQ competitions.
Alongside cooking, Stump is known as the original owner of Stump's Smokers. He has since retired from the business but helps his daughter Lacey in her pursuits to become the first female pit builder.
